Dr. Wesley Citron grew up in Vienna, Va and attended James Madison High School right down the street from Vienna Endodontics! At that time, his passion was the Bass Trombone and he received a full scholarship to attend Boston University School for the Arts as a Performance Major.
After earning a Masters Degree in Performance from Manhattan School of Music, he became a professional musician with the Albany Symphony Orchestra and Burning River Brass, a classical ensemble group that toured the United States and abroad. He has also performed with renowned orchestras such as The New York City Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago and the New World Symphony.
In 2006, Dr. Citron re-directed his career path. He attended American University and shortly after gained acceptance to the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he graduated at the top of his class.
Following graduation, Dr. Citron completed a General Practice Residency at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Subsequently he gained entry into the Endodontic Residency Program at Lutheran Medical Center, one of the most competitive and sought after Endodontic residencies in the country. While attending this program, Dr. Citron worked in private practice where he performed Endodontic procedures.
Dr. Citron is passionate about providing the highest quality root canal treatment using the latest and most advanced technology. He brings his passion for excellence, reputation for empathy, as well as patient comfort to the Vienna community and surrounding areas. Dr. Citron is delighted to serve Vienna and the surrounding communities, continuing the legacy of his father at Vienna Endodontics.
